Second Stanza something to do with abandoning the idea of convincing peace as if you're dead you can't win a war. The gates could be heaven? Or hell? idk
Third Stanza possibly if you do not "drink from the river of information" meaning if you do not learn, new information cannot be learned. But to try and learn on your own is difficult?
No clue what the fourth means, possibly drugs or alcohol?
Fifth the old save the young? As they were once saved by an older person thus returning the debt and bestowing a new debt onto the saved? (Sun setting in hair possibly grey hair)
Colourless rainbows could be the spector of good and evil? White-grey-black. And the paper skies showing how fragile the world is. 2nd on makes me think it's a past event being told by (idk a war veteran or something) and afterwards the person being told the story thinks alot about it and how peace can come from fighting (which i don't reckon is true but k)
