but it the whole puzzle shifts slightly if you get the piece in the right place in relation to adjacent pieces, which gives it away a little :/

I enjoyed it.
I have been trying to fix that from day one. When I do a hitTest on the puzzle piece, it checks based on the bounds of the whole image loaded on the piece, and not just the masked area that is shown. I'm not sure why. It wasn't happening often enough that I thought it would be a huge issue.
